When you are first starting a business, you know that everywhere you look there are costs to get started. When working on a limited budget, you want to be careful where you spend your money.
If you are an established business, you know that there are inevitable ups and downs in a handmade business. The start of a new year is a great time to start planning to see if there are places to save for your business in the upcoming year.
Whether you are starting your business new, or are looking for ways to save money for your business in 2024 we have a list of options you can consider. We’ve tried to offer multiple options in many cases so that you can try out a few different products to see which ones you like best.
Our intent with this article is not to suggest that you don’t ever pay for tools. This is not reasonable or realistic or practical. Our intent is to provide ideas of places where you can start when you are on a limited budget. It may also help you more strategically spend the budget you have for your business.
Many of us have experienced the bait and switch of looking to start using a free product only to have it only be a free trial, or find that the features are too limited to be meaningful. We’ve done our best to include genuinely free products (not just free trials). We’ve also worked to make sure it is a product we could use (and some of these are products we do use).
How to use this list
We have included an initial set of categories for you to review. We have also tried to include some information as to what is included and if there are limits to the free plan. We have also provided links to each provider to make it easy to go directly to their site.
This information was verified as of Jan 2024. In February we will be releasing a lot more items to add to this list. Without further ado- see the list here!
