The h+h americas show is back for its fourth year in Rosemont, IL from May 7th-9th, 2025.
Each year since its inception, the show has grown and increased in its scope. This year is no different. After great attendance last year, the show is bringing back the Creator Summit on May 6th.
When it comes to trade shows, it is always important to understand who exactly attends the shows. So who might be interested in attending this fast growing trade show? The show is a wholesale event open to all making a living through crafts. It’s a generous description, and in our experience a variety of different people are interested in being at this show. To give you an idea of the kinds of people I generally meet at this show:
- Artisans interested in potentially purchasing supplies wholesale- it’s a great way to meet and build relationships with manufacturers.
- Artisans interested in partnering with manufacturers, such as pattern designers or book authors.
- Podcasters running artisan shows
- Bloggers or publications writing about different topics in craft
- Retailers purchasing supplies for their store
- Curious artisans on the lookout for new inspiration or ideas that want to learn what is new in the industry all in one place
Each year the show expands to include new areas. When the show first started, the focus was primarily on yarn, but each year the show expands. I’ve watched the addition of fabric, spinning and weaving, sewing, and more. Here is the full list of product categories at the show.
Now that I have your attention with all the categories, want to know who all will be at this show? Here is a full exhibitor list. Warning- make sure you have some time if you are going to start reviewing this list, as it is a long one! Maybe warm up a beverage and savor all the interesting companies you could meet at the show.
I always encourage artisans to get out and network with others in our industry- connections are so important. Building relationships can be great for business. On a personal level so many of us are desiring more connection. A day or two at a trade show with other people that “get” you can sometimes be the best inspiration and encouragement!
We are proud to be a media partner with h+h, and be part of the incredible growth of this show. We are also proud to offer our artisan businesses the ability to attend the show for free! Yep, you read that right! Click here to register to attend free.
The exhibit hall ticket will provide access to all exhibit hall, keynote sessions, main stage sessions, happy hours, open side events, and full access to the h+h connect platform. There are a number of main stage sessions on a variety of topics. In the past, we have enjoyed industry panel updates sharing data on what is happening in different segments of the craft industry. We have found many of these sessions to be very insightful!
Come for the exhibit hall, stay for the Fashion Show. Or watch the Famoré Cutlery’s Cosplay Competition Fashion Show & Exhibition. There is so much to do and see and learn at this show.
