The January magazine is live and it’s a brand new year!! This is one of our favorite times because everyone feels excited and ready for a fresh start and new business goals. It’s also when we all get to recover a little from the holiday rush! We have the perfect stories lined up for you this month to get you pumped up for all of the possibilities that this year holds. Rebeca has been a full-time artist for seven years now and her husband was able to join the business full-time at the 3-year mark. But guess what? The day she decided to make art her full-time carreer choice, she only had $2.00 in her bank account. If excuses have ever held your business back, her story is a must-read.
“I discovered that creators in any industry all have the same challenges. We are scared to take the leap of faith, to believe in ourselves enough to quit our day jobs to pursue our dreams. I am living proof that it is possible!”
– Rebeca Flott from Rebeca Flott Arts
Our second featured seller, Leah, started her business when she was only 14 years old! She now has her products in 7 local stores and she’s not slowing down any time soon. She’s faced many of the challenges that us adults face (plus a some extra) and she worked through each them. Her story is a wonderful example of anything being possible if you truely want it.
“I don’t know where I’d be without my business. It has helped me become more confident, create a positive platform, and prove to myself that I do have a voice and I should use it for good. I have expanded to 7 stores across New Jersey and have set a goal to be in 15 stores before I graduate high school.”
– Leah Berzak from Homemade Happiness by Leah
